Stevedoring loads and unloads vessels and barges with cargo
such as steel plate, steel coils, billets, pipe, bulk ores, pig
iron, aluminum ingots, mimosa extract, silicon sands, and corn screening,
as well as containers. Schaefer coordinates all information and
documentation requirements with custom brokers and steamship agents,
and can also offer competitive pricing for ocean, truck and rail
freight.
Gulf Facilities
offers a complete package of warehouse, storage and point of distribution
needs. Our facilities are water, truck and rail served, and offer
covered storage and marshalling / transfer yards with bagging lines
up to 100 lbs., super-sacks, "in-bond" storage, stripping
/ stuffing containers and vans, and heavy lift capacity to accommodate
truck and rail handling operations.
